I’m proud to announce it is time for us to officially launch Naka BBoy Edition!

Naka BBoy edition is a project put together to give back to the BBoy community by providing a safe spot to build long lasting careers and insane talent through solid collaborations amongst real BBoy run companies, organizations and individuals. This project will be lead by the man himself—BBoy Wicket.

For those who don’t know who Wicket is, here are a couple of things you should know about him: Wicket has been involved in the BBoy world for as long as he can remember. He is an innovator, an Artist, Dancer, Musician and Athlete. In addition, Wicket is a teacher and mentor to the new and old generation of BBoys and BGirls—Wicket has kept it fresh and real for a long time and now is world renown for doing so. Not to mention, Wicket is an amazing person and life long friend that I am lucky to have as a partner in this venture. Wicket opened my eyes to this world and he will open yours too on May 29th at our First Down and Dirty 2vs2 battle.

The Down and Dirty 2vs2 battle will go down at San Francisco Crossfit in San Francisco. It will be in a raw parking lot behind the Sports Basement down by Crissy Field and it will be as nasty as you can imagine. You will get to experience true raw talent getting down to amazing beats and a keeping it real through pure freestyle movement.

For any athlete or person out there that can appreciate body movement, this will be an inspirational and eye opening experience to witness. Just like I was blown away when I saw it go down for the first time, you will also be impressed.

For the winning team—besides getting a good chunk of money—we will be offering a three month sponsorship with our Naka BBoy Edition representation program. This sponsorship will give the winners an inside scoop on how to physically, mentally and financially make your career last a life time. Please note, this will not be all, so expect a lot of surprises to come for the winning team!

Ticket purchase online will be available at www.nakaathletics.com by the beginning of March. There will be limited tickets available, so if you want to be the first one to know when they come out for sale, please sign up as an attendee on the DnD facebook event page.

Wow! It is a great idea and you made me proud of this. It is good that teenagers will be in good future rather than taking any drugs. As I surf the net today I have read about drug trafficking and their are many marijuana that had been distributed. But it is a good job that teenagers will just give their time focusing to their talent.

I think that was fun! In the meantime, take pleasure in the deep fried goodness on June 4th during nationwide doughnut afternoon. I know we have days to celebrate just about anything, but a nationwide donut day time is 1 worth celebrating. Who wouldn't enjoy this deep fried, or baked treat that often comes frosted. All across America, people will bring part in baking, or purchasing doughnuts. If you do not desire to take the time for making them, or pay for them, Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts, at pick locations, will be providing no cost doughnuts for all. Go ahead, bring in the extra calories, it's one day nobody will even notice if you sneak a doughnut or two into your diet.
